Dementia Awareness Week ran from 15th to 21st of May, during which we continued to deliver our comprehensive, up-to-date healthcare training in the condition, across the UK.

During Dementia Awareness Week, people were encouraged to talk about their experience of living with, or knowing somebody suffering from the illness, by opening up to the Alzheimer’s Society.

We, of course, also understand that Dementia can be difficult for patients and families to talk about – which is why our training not only covers the academic and remedial side of the illness, but the life-skills required to provide caring, empathetic support.

With dementia set to be one of the most prominent health issues faced by families in the 21st Century, it is essential to have the latest knowledge and skills delivered directly to the staff working with the condition every day.

We provide a variety of training solutions in Dementia Care, including our Train The Trainer options. After 10 years of practice, delivery, and development, they have developed into thorough, comprehensible, short-term courses that provide longer-term gains for workforces.

Dementia Awareness week has acknowledged the communication issues being faced by everyone affected by the illness, and our training solutions tackle this problem with inclusion, compassion, and experience.
