Introduction to Essential Person-Centred Care, Identifying the Condition and Engaging with Adaptive Behaviour.
The experience of people with dementia has to change, get better, improve. That won’t happen by accident, or in a vacuum. We are looking to inspire individuals to be part of that movement, to make a difference. Every day we encounter behaviours in ourselves and others that we need to better understand and engage with. It’s not easy, but there are key things that will enhance care and keep us both safer, that’s what this course is about. There is no ‘them’ and no one is coming to the rescue. So best get started. Now.
